Becoming Baby-Friendly

A course for licensed and unlicensed personnel that provides an overview of the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative and the hospital-wide teamwork necessary to obtain the accreditation.

This course describes the benefits of breastfeeding to parents, babies, and the community. It includes a summary of the health care organizations and government agencies which support this initiative to improve the public health and well-being of the country.
